We met a lot of nice people at the Cottonwood RV Park and the day before we left several of them came to our campsite for the our last Happy Hour.   Here are a few pictures of the get together.

The great thing about RVing is that you meet a lot of nice people on the road.   A few years ago we met Larry and Becky at a Campground in Texas. They are from Sequin Texas and Larry is a Veterinarian with his own practice and Becky is a Kindergarden teacher.   We made contact a few days ago and had our reunion at one of the famous Steak Houses , Saltgrass,  in San Marcos.   After Lunch Nancy and I were invited to visit their friends in Fentress Texas.  Enclosed are several pictures of the reunion.   Hope you enjoy and thanks for visiting the blog.  One big thing about Texas is everyone is TEXAS FRIENDLY.

Visit to Fredericksburg Texas

Nancy and I have been to Fredericksburg Texas several times, but it has been a few years since we walked the streets.  In the past we have visited the Nimitz Museum and the Rockbox Theater but today was window shopping and a good german lunch.    We also stopped at a Biker Bar.   There are additional pictures and descriptions of our trip on our Trip Journal.  Please stop by and take a look

Nancy's Birthday and the Austin Texas Pro Rodeo

March 18th was a big day in our family as it is the day we celebrate Nancy's Birthday   I know she looks really young and many would like to know her real age.  I can tell you that Mac Davis, A Great Singer and Songwriter, wrote a song for Nancy.  It was titled "She Turned 21 Today".  We have that song in our collection. Sounds as good today as it did in yesteryear.  He did not really write it for her but for a lot  of women in the USA.

One of Nancy's Favorite Country Singers is Josh Turner.  Well, along with the Texas Pro Rodeo, Josh Turner was the featured entertainer.   I have enclosed a few pictures from the big night but there are over 30 more on our Trip Journal Web Site.  Because of the action and the light some pictures are better than others but hope you enjoy them.   The address is http://MyTripJournal.Com/HelloRoadWinter2011
