Family Visit to Roscoe Village

Ohio Made Products that we purchased in Roscoe Village
The leather fly swatter is really neat and the peanuts
are great.  The coaster is made from bridle leather as
is the fly swatter. They should never wear out.  The old
Ford above was touring the downtown Roscoe Village Street
In the early 1800's, plans were well underway to develop the means to transport people and goods from the ports of Lake Erie and the Ohio River to the villages and towns throughout the state.  In 1830 the first canal boat docked at Roscoe Village.  Today Roscoe Village is a very nice tourist type town that is home to several historical buildings, shops and of course a replica of the old Canal Boat.  This is a visual representation of our day trip to Roscoe Village Ohio.  This is the face book link for  Roscoe Village

Just a small bit of history the first canal boat came through Canal Winchester in 1831.  The locks for this barge are located about 3 miles from our home.  Here is the face book link to our home town

the way to Roscoe Village.  Hope you enjoy the trip and thanks for viewing our blog.  If you want to
