Thanksgiving 2010

The start of every Thanksgiving is a visit to our Mothers favorite spot in Ohio. She spent many an hour at this 1 acre property in the middle of Wayne National Forest. Left to Right are Rick, Nancy, my sister Carole and my Sister Toni. Of course all the dogs are here too.

This is our Mother's gravesite in the Church of
Christ cemetary in Burr Oak. This site is about a 5 minute walk from the property.

Pictured are Toni, Rick and Carole. This cemetary is active and maintained by locals.

The Church, pictured below, is no longer being used.

Church active from 1833 to 1881 Pews are still inside
The cooks are ready.  So much cooking you will stick to the floor
Turkey must be lowered slowly.  Do not mess with hot oil
Every year we Deep Fry Two Turkeys.  Here is the first one going into the hot peanut oil

The Finished Product.  Great Taste and Easy to do
